DermSource is a specialty GPO serving pharmacies across the nation with a highly discounted purchasing platform.

Who is Akron Generics?

Akron Generics is a recognized VAWD/DSCSA accredited wholesale distributor supplying independent pharmacies and other providers with generic prescription drugs, medical devices, and over-the-counter products.

What services does DermSource provide?

DermSource negotiates contracts for prescription drugs and other products, delivering discounts for participating members – all while retaining a profit margin of no more than 3%.

Who are DermSource members?

DermSource members are independently owned retail pharmacies located in the United States. See Terms & Conditions for more information.

How do I become a member of DermSource?

All licensed pharmacies in the United States are invited to complete the FREE membership Application.

What does it cost to become a DermSource member?

Nothing! It is FREE. The first step is to complete the Application and check out our prices. Members are not obligated to purchase product.

Purchasing Platform

How can I place my order?

Orders can be placed through our online platform, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. See Terms & Conditions for more information.

Once I complete the membership application, when can I place my first order?

You will receive an email confirmation confirming your membership within five working days (most cases, within 24 hours) with your agreement.

Is there a minimum purchase quantity required through DermSource?

A minimum of $250 per order is required for your order to be shipped free next business day. Please see product details for more information.

When will I receive my order?

All orders placed Monday through Thursday are shipped for next day delivery. Orders placed Friday through Sunday are shipped next scheduled day (Monday).

How do I cancel an order?

All purchase orders are final and nonreturnable. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us.

How do I end my membership with DermSource?

To end membership, send an email to info@DermSource.com, with “Cancel my membership” in the subject line. Please include your account number.

How can a manufacturer work with DermSource?

Manufacturers are invited to inquire by submitting a request for more information to info@DermSource.com. A DermSource representative will contact you shortly.
